This delicious dessert, very popular in celebrations, is a sweet brownish biscuit, thanks to the cocoa that is mixed with wheat flour and sugar. It is a small and compact product, hence its name "brownie" which in Spanish translates as "Duende". The original American recipe is to bathe the cake with dark chocolate, although it has varied to decorate it with refined sugar, nuts and a variety of other pastry products.
