          Mute is a variety of corn widely used in Colombia, especially in the Cundiboyacense and Santander area, the most common is the Santandereano mute, which is a soup with vegetables, meats and spices to which this hydrated and lightly cooked corn is added. although in the Cundinamarca and Bogota area it is preferably consumed stewed.
