The "mogolla" is a round bread, made of wheat flour or corn flour, very popular in Colombia, especially in the areas of Cundinamarca and Boyaca. This rounded bread dates back to colonial times and is very versatile both in its preparation and the different ingredients that are added depending on the region, the dough is generally sweet in taste, although in some cases savory fillings such as the famous one are added " mogolla chicharrona "to which it is stuffed with fried pork meat, its preparations are very varied and the whole mogolla has become popular, to which the bran is added, to enhance its nutritional values.
